PALM BEACH - The Westin Aruba Resort's dedicated employees continue to be island leaders within the community, lending their hard work, talent, and time to various community service projects throughout the year.
The resort's T.E.A.M union, organized and run by the employees themselves, holds a Caminata Walk every year, with a charity or community project earmarked to receive proceeds from the event. This year, the island's Donkey Sanctuary, which nurses and cares for sick, abused, or orphaned donkeys, was chosen.
Nearly 200 employees and their families showed up on Tuesday evening at The Westin Aruba Resort, and trekked all the way to Arashi Beach just at the base of the lighthouse road. The Donkey Sanctuary even sent one of the resident donkeys to join in on the fun!
