KLM Aruba Open 2007 officially underway

EAGLE BEACH - This past Saturday evening, the welcome party was held for participants and sponsors of the KLM Aruba Open at the breathtaking location of Windows on Aruba, the flagship penthouse restaurant in the clubhouse of The Links at Divi Aruba golf course.

This is the third annual edition of the tournament that brings amateur players from Holland to the island for a week-long golf vacation and tournament, with some of the participants winning their trip by placing at the top in various KLM-sponsored tournaments throughout some of the top golf courses in The Netherlands over the past year. The tournament takes place over four days of play this week, divided between The Links at Divi's nine-hole golfing wonder and Tierra del Sol, the island's 18-hole course.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines coordinated this amazing golf vacation and tournament with the invaluable assistance of the Aruba Tourism Authority and the golf professionals at The Links at Divi Aruba and Tierra del Sol.
