The Saint is Open on the Main Street

Oranjestad -- The Saint, the new store located right next to the Sting took main-street shopping to the next level. It opened just this weekend and belongs to a family of avid retailers. Ron Speyer started his love affair with high fashion at the Sting in the seventies. For the past four decades he kept up his interest in women’s fashions and carries Vertigo among other brands, which is the high-end best seller on the island.

His beautiful and style-conscious daughters, Danielle Speyer & Nadja de Mey raised on retail by dad and fashion by mom, now opened the store adjacent.

The new mini department store with something for everybody, at great prices is absolutely beautiful and Ron has his grand piano in the back of the sales floor.

He promises to occasionally be playing while clients pick up some irresistible frivolities, and/or sipping an elegant cocktail or freshly brewed coffee, on the house.

The idea was to bring shopping back as a fun activity, with a distinct character, and restore it to its level #1 preferred status, to compete with beach time, golf, and dining, says Amy Ras, a third talented and gorgeous daughter who for the past years has been working at the Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association, AHATA, and has just received a well-deserved mega promotion heading for the sales and marketing department at the Hyatt Regency Aruba.

Check out the store, for anything from tops, to bottoms, trendy Guga jeans, handbags, shoes, men’s shirts and pants, both classic and casual, and baby wear.
