Oranjestad, – Continuing to offer the most facilities and services to locals and visitors, brand new restaurant Windows on Aruba opens April 14, 2007, for patrons who enjoy fine dining.
Windows on Aruba is located directly above Mulligan’s Golf Café, Bar & Restaurant on the top floor of the golf Clubhouse at The Links at Divi Aruba, just steps away from the Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort and the adjacent Divi & Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusives. Fully glass-enclosed and air conditioned for optimal comfort, this elegant restaurant is built in the round and offers diners a panoramic view over the signature ninth hole at The Links with the azure Caribbean sea visible beyond.
These stunning views create the ideal backdrop for the artfully created menus from celebrated Chef de Cuisine Leendert Klaassens. Prepared with only the freshest ingredients and utilizing the latest innovative cooking methods, it was created with the connoisseur in mind, light, European-International style dishes which include both hot and cold appetizers as well as exquisite entrees that can be served with a matching wine arrangement selected to complement the meal. Sample menu items include 'Creamy Cauliflower Soup with Marinated Escargots and Black Truffle Shavings,' 'Frog Legs, Low Temperature Cooked Monkfish Mushroom Risotto and Roasted Garlic Sauce,' 'Gently Simmered Shoulder of Beef Sautéed Duck Liver Red Cabbage and Potato Mousseline,’ and ‘Crème Bruleé of Epoisse de Bourgogne with Granny Smith Apple Sherbet.’

Windows on Aruba serves dinner nightly between 6:00pm and 10:30pm, except for Mondays. Patrons are encouraged to make advance reservations at tel. 581-4653. The dress code is smart casual, no shorts allowed.
