Hyperbaric Oxygen Producing Environment “ HOPE” We treat patient with hyperbaric oxygen and help cure chronic wounds in diabetics and save limbs and avoid amputation in many cases. We also treat decompression sickness in divers. We even won an award from PADI in November 2006.
Aruba has a 300-bed hospital, Doctor Horacio Oduber Hospital (Telephone +297 5874300), and most medical specialties are represented. There is an ambulance plane on call for emergencies.
The hyperbaric recompression chamber is located adjacent to the hospital and is run by a highly trained staff - admittance via the emergency room at the hospital.
