Palm Beach – The Radisson Aruba Resort & Casino just completed an extensive renovation of its famous Gilligan’s Beach Bar & Grill. The previous sun-bleached Gilligan Island’s look is gone, replaced by a casual tropical décor that’s attractive and comfortable at the same time.
Comfortable for both staff and patrons – the kitchen is now fully air conditioned while the dining room is completely shaded and refreshed by mahogany fans overhead.
As expected of the Radisson, a formidable force in the island’s culinary scene, the all-day dining menu is chock full of surprises.
Gilligan’s kitchen offers delicious starters, fresh salads, and interesting wraps. A variety of quesadillas compete with warm sandwiches, hot dogs, elaborate burgers, grilled Panini sandwiches, hand-tossed pizza, as well as nightly specials, fajitas, and a list of homemade desserts which changes daily.
Patrons dining on the oceanfront terrace may feast on Chicken Wings, Peel‘n Eat Shrimp, Shrimp & Chicken Caesar Salads, Garden Salads topped with Chicken, Tuna or Shrimp, Casino Club Wraps, Mediterranean Vegetable Wraps, and a new Jamaican Chicken Wrap with Roasted Pepper and Pepper Jack Cheese.
Reappearing on the menu, the much-loved Grilled Grouper and Chicken Sandwiches, and a new California Cheese Steak Sandwich. The international food community is represented by English Fish & Chips, hot pressed Cuban sandwiches and their hoagie-rolled Italian counterparts.
The restaurant’s dinner selection served from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. includes Baby Back Ribs, Citrus Fire Chicken & Shrimp, sizzling Cheese Steak Tenderloin, Grilled Churrasco, Freshly Caught Local Fish and Key West Shrimp. The enormously popular Fajitas arrive in Chicken, Beef and Chicken combinations.
A good selection of beer, soft drinks, fountain drinks and frozen libations take up a whole separate menu!
