ATA & AHATA host Barefoot Night on Sunday Night

Renaissance Private Island -- The annual GOGO Worldwide Vacations Learning Conference invited over 400 of its A list agents to come and discover Aruba, where happiness lives.

The agents checked into the Renaissance Marina Tower and enjoyed five days of activities, including ACE certifications, which entitled them to the preferred Aruba Certified Expert status.

ATA, the Aruba Tourism Authority and AHATA, the Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association who both pushed for the Learning Conference to come to Aruba were pleased to showcase Renaissance Private Island as Sunday night’s barefoot almost-final event.

White attire was welcomed as guests boarded fast catamarans and shuttle boats to get to the island across the bay after a casual cocktail party on Renaissance Festival Plaza.

On the island the agents were greeted with flutes of chilled champagne and the charming folkloric dances of the Coco Rico dancers.

The party included a red carpet reception with ATA & AHATA executives meeting and greeting all guests cheerfully, under the stars, in the night breeze.

The island put on an extravagant culinary show, under the fresh guidance of the Renaissance new executive chef Michel Breliere including an irresistible ceviche salad bar – conc ceviche, fish ceviche, seafood ceviche - with fresh cut mango as relish. There was food everywhere, on the edge of the water and under the coconut trees, with chefs carving to order tenderloins and flipping just grilled steaks, live, interactively, serving over 500 people with a palpable eagerness to please.

Music with Aruba’s sound sensation NGO, added an unmistakable touch to the evening and concluded the agents’ judgment Aruba is truly a tremendous vacation destination capable of entertaining and relaxing a great number of people, with terrific ease and true professionalism.
