“The first time in Aruba gave us an unforgettable memory, as the island is so peaceful and relaxing. The people are so nice and they live so stress-less, compared with our European life explains Mr. Smetteś wife, Ms. Els Roussel
The couple is back in Aruba to celebrate Mr. Smettes birthday and Ms. Roussel approached the management of Bucuti to organize a special birthday present for her husband. His dream is to a Bartender for the day at the Sand Bar, so Bucuti organized the dream to become reality. The surprise was well received by Mr. Smette who quickly put on his Pirates Nest apron and fired up drinks for Bucuti Guests who were all informed of the surprise and invited to the party. Mr. Smette created a special cocktail for the patrons called: THE HAPPY DIVER. It contains Triple Sec, Gin, Banana Liquor, Orange juice, Grenadine and a garnish of Pineapple, cherry, lime and sugar and was loved by all.
“We fell in love with Aruba and with its beautiful beaches and our favorite is the great expanse at the Bucuti Hotel. Says Mr. Smette Bucuti is perfect for us because it offers every individual, personal attention instead of being treated as one of so many guests as in the bigger hotels. We were surprised this year with the beautiful and tasteful Zen renovation of the rooms. We cannot wait to return
