July 2006 - - Eagle Beach, Aruba - - Bucuti Beach Resort’s renown ‘Dream Beach of the World’ was the backdrop for a romantic wedding for visitors from Clawson, Michigan, Mr. Justin and Mrs. Megan Woodside.
The intimate marriage ceremony took place with just the two of them, against the back drop of a setting sun and the deserted Bucuti Beach.
Megan and Justin are childhood sweethearts…Megan works in the insurance industry and Justin works in sales and they met when they were 16 years old in 1995 while working on a summer job at the local Ice Cream stand.
The couple vacationed together in Aruba in 2004 and “fell in love with the beauty of the island” explains Justin. “We returned again in 2005 and decided to marry here. The people are incredibly friendly and Aruba is always reliable to provide fine dining and reliably good weather. We chose Bucuti because of the warm and welcoming staff, the excellent rooms and the amazing beach. We consider Bucuti our home away from home and we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding.” Says the couple.
