Oranjestad -- Café Verona, a small eatery with a large wine list, at the Bayside Mall, introduced its lunch menu to members of the press.
The hard working Media members enjoyed salads, sandwiches, wraps and quesadillas giving the restaurant crew two thumbs up for taste and freshness.
Manager Luis Alfonso Arisa, and waiter Orlando, explained the café will be open every day for lunch and dinner and offers indoor air-conditioned seating as well as outdoor terrace seating for cigar smokers.
Verona’s lunch menu highlights include: Shrimp, Chicken Wings, Stuffed Island Pastries, w/Chicken & Beef, Caesar Salad, with Grilled Chicken Breast or Fresh Grilled Shrimp, Chef Salad, Greek Salad, Tuna Salad, Philly Cheese Sandwich, Chicken Sandwich, Grouper Sandwich, Verona’s Special Burgers served with Pickles, Lettuce and Tomato, Cole Slaw & Curly Fries, Verona’s Tortilla Wrap, Roast beef Panini, Ham & Cheese Panini, Tuna Melt Panini, Quesadillas and assorted cold and hot Tapas such as Cured Ham with Manchego Cheese, Octopus Vinaigrette, Shrimp Cocktail, Garlic Shrimp, Scallops in Saffron Cream Sauce, Tenderloin with Goat Cheese & Mushroom, Grilled Italian Sausage, Meatballs in a sweet spicy Sauce and Calamari sautéed with garlic.
Café Verona serves over 35 wines by the glass, all carefully picked and highly recommended and rated by Wine Spectator Magazine and other famous publications.
Café Verona was created in collaboration with Romar Trading, ArubaÂ’s largest purveyors of wine and spirits. The café is nicely decorated with color mosaïque and fresh flowers.
All VeronaÂ’s wines are properly stored and handled and high-end selections are served in Crystal stemware.
