Island Temptations releases The Wedding Issue

PALM  BEACH – Last week, the thirteenth edition of Island Temptations magazine hit store shelves, hotel lobbies, and café magazine racks.  The special edition, The Wedding Issue, is dedicated to assisting brides, grooms, and wedding and event planners in coordinating a wedding celebration on the island.

The edition is filled with gorgeous photos by Island Temptations’ Director of Photography Steve Keith, and has “how tos” and information on getting married on the island—both for tourists and the local community.  Editorial and Creative Director Tina Causey-Escobedo has a special place in her heart for this edition, as she was an event and wedding planner for many years.  “I wanted to share all that Aruba has to offer for weddings with the rest of the world.  They have it all here—anything anyone could possibly dream up for a wedding in paradise can happen on this island thanks to so many talented professionals in the hospitality industry here…world-class cuisine, creative reception options, florists, musicians—you name it,” Tina explains.

Island Temptations is also utilized by the Aruba Tourism Authority in the North American market and through A.C.E. travel agents.  The edition was also used by the ATA at the recent New York Times Travel Show.  Director of Public Relations and Special Projects Rona Coster comments that no other island has a publication of this magnitude dedicated entirely to weddings.  “Seeing is believing, and being able to show, in pictures and in words, just what an amazing wedding destination Aruba is speaks loudly and prominently for Aruba’s tourism,” stated Rona.

The Island Temptations crew is currently working on the fourteenth edition of the magazine due out in mid-June.  Island Temptations is the proud recipient of the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s Travel Writers Award three years in a row, and is the only regional Caribbean magazine to achieve this..
