Chef Ruth Van Waerebeek will Join Iron Chef Aruba judging panel

The Iron Chef Aruba competition, being held on October 8th during the Eat Local Restaurant Week, will include Chef Ruth Van Waerebeek to their judging panel. Chef Ruth will be judging three of Aruba’s top chefs competing for the Iron Chef title. This event offers sampling cocktails and gourmet four-course dinner paired with wine.

Aruba's public art draws attention to local history

The area of Paardenbaai, which is located throughout the downtown area of the island, symbolizes the early history of Aruba’s colonial period. The Paardenbaai project is placing eight blue horses in different locations throughout the Oranjestad area in order to promote the island’s colonial history.
